2026 Pioneer Trek — June 17–20, Deseret Land & Livestock Ranch
Wednesday, June 17
Check in, load buses, and meet leaders. Buses depart promptly — do not be late.
Buses travel to the ranch. Use the time to rest, socialize, and mentally prepare.
Upon arrival, trek families are revealed. Meet your Ma and Pa and fellow family members for the first time.
Eat the lunch you brought from home — this is the one meal not provided. All meals from dinner onward are included.
Pull handcarts and begin the journey. Camp is set up at the day's destination.
Family and group gathering, devotional, speaker, and testimony-building experience.
Thursday, June 18
Rise early, eat breakfast as a family, and break down camp for another day on the trail.
Full day on the trail. Water is available continuously. Trail snacks are provided.
Rest break with a provided lunch. Take care of your feet during this time.
Afternoon miles and camp setup at the evening destination.
Pioneer games, square dancing, talent show, and group devotional.
Friday, June 19
Another early start. Eat as a family and prepare for the day's journey.
Full day on the trail with meaningful spiritual experiences planned along the route.
Provided midday meal and rest.
Final miles before the last evening camp.
Spiritual testimony meeting. Many consider this the highlight of trek — come prepared to feel the Spirit.
Saturday, June 20
Pack everything — this is the last morning on the trail.
The last miles of the journey, completed as a company. Reflect on all you've experienced.
Final meal together before loading buses for the ride home.
Buses depart the ranch by 2:00 PM.
Parents and family members may pick up youth at the Stake Center.
