Young Men
Preparing to Serve God and Their Fellow Man
Purpose
The Young Men organization serves young men ages 11 through 18. Its purpose is to help each young man develop spiritually, socially, physically, and intellectually as he prepares for a lifetime of service to God and others. Young men are organized into Aaronic Priesthood quorums — deacons, teachers, and priests — where they learn and practice priesthood responsibilities.
What We Do
- Sunday Quorum Meetings: Young men meet by quorum each Sunday for gospel lessons and discussions that help them understand and live the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Mutual Activities: Weekly activities provide opportunities for fun, friendship, skill development, and service. Activities may include sports, outdoor adventures, service projects, and more.
- Camps & Conferences: Annual events such as youth conferences, camps, and treks provide memorable experiences that build testimony and brotherhood.
- Scouting & Personal Development: Young men are encouraged to set and achieve personal goals in spiritual, physical, social, and intellectual areas.
- Service: Regular service opportunities help young men learn to follow the Savior's example of charity and compassion.
Who Can Participate
All young men ages 11 through 18 are welcome to participate in Young Men activities, regardless of membership status. We encourage all youth to come and be part of our community.
"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." — 1 Timothy 4:12
